Picked up my new F31 this morning

Hi all,

See photos attached, not many as the heavens opened just after the collection and intro to all the controls!

Very pleased already, only driven 50 miles but was impressed from the off. Need to try the adaptive lights tonight now

Lovely looking motor.....enjoy

EDIT: Was going to say, MG was my second colour choice, and would have gone coral too.

Looks superb. I really enjoyed the F31 demo I had. Just a shame the contract hire deals didn't extent to the Touring.

And I have heard that Mineral Grey is the fastest colour

Looks great, definitely the best colour combo What's with the orange front indicator bulbs though, thought they were meant to be clear (spec on BMW website says they are)?

Nice. My F31 was also delivered to my front door this morning at 7am! Same colour, alloys and xenons. Very very happy, car looks and drives awesome. Only driven 10 miles today but off to Cambridge tomorrow so we'll see how she performs on a longer run.

Hey Kitster, how do you find the gap in the wheel arch with the 18s?

The gap is defo bigger than on my E91 M Sport Touring with the 18" 193M Alloys, gap on those were virtually nill. But generally I'm ok with it, cos once your inside the car .... everything is sweet. I also had the M Performance Twin Exhaust in Chrome fitted. It just gives the car that little extra punch, the single pipe just didn't do the M Sport kit justice.

On another note, the boot liner from the E91 is a pretty good fit for the F31, it's short of maybe 2cm on the sides, but good enough not to spend another £70 on the F31 one.

Cheers everyone for the comments, yes I'm very pleased and she even fitted in my garage at home (just)

Nive day today but apparently I have to pay my penance before I'm allowed out to play again!

Hi

I have a mineral grey F31 320D on order for Jan delivery and wondered if you could post a picture of the exhaust as I am considering doing the same?

Cheers

I think they mean clear lenses, then they always put orange bulbs in - every manufacturer seems to do the same!

So we ought to start a "Mineral Grey owners club thread"

Congrats, that's a beautiful F31.

Can we get some open tailgate shots of coral red interior?
(do you call it a tailgate in England?)

The grill parts...

51 71 2 240 775
51 71 2 240 778

£70 ish rings a bell.

Very easy to fit, the web guides tell you to remove bolts and a seal, but you can do it without I found it easier to just use fingers through the grill front to press in the tabs.

Cheers,

Mat
