Made a Deal, New Arrival

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
2013 328i X-Drive: Glacier Silver, moonroof, heated seats, all weather floor mats inc at no addtl cost.

$850 down
$350 / mon including tax
36 mon, 12k / yr

My 2011 328i X-Drive was in pristine shape at lease turn in. So on top of pull ahead and other incentives, they gave me credit for my lease turn in as well.

Love my new 3 Series!

Damn that's a great price on a lease! Cheaper than my Prius lease, haha. Congrats and enjoy the car! Now where are the pictures?

Wow that's insane.

Which dealer?

How did you get so little down for a lease! Isn't it usually 2K due at signing?

lol you guys are so lucky, down here in AUS we pay about 2k per month on a lease for 36 months (a 328i with decent list of options cost around 75-80k here). I would be buying a M3 no questions asked if I lived in the states.

The local dealer is advertising $388/month for a no options 320i lease. Not sure how you got that deal... but I'll take your word for it. That's a very good deal.

No way you only paying $350 per month as that is only $12k over 3 years and that does not include tax if there is tax for your state, unless you only paid $36k. My last BMW lease was $590 per month for a $45k 335i w/ a 775 credit score and $1k.

Presario: I broke the cardinal rule of arrival with no pics, thought it would never happen, but it did! Have been crazy busy, but managed to include a quick snap at the dealer.

Dwalls90: I just PM'd you dealer info.

Gas toys: Sounds like you are a non-believer. I was too until I signed the paperwork. Remember, we are in the midst of a 3 series model year change. Currently, dealers have a plentiful stock of 13s, as they get more 14s that they will need to move in the next couple months. There are also the incentives, which for me, amount to around 2k. Plus they took care of my last four payments through the pull ahead program. As mentioned, my 2011 was in great shape. That was actually a trade in, crediting me approx $2,500. MSRP $41,875. Sales price $37,600. Numbers don't lie. I think I was able to negotiate an incredible deal!

Thanks to all for your replies!

OP's deal is totally believable. My coworker just custom ordered a 328 for US delivery here in CA with similar MSRP and similar terms.

Congrats OP, nice deal!

Looks like a metro west dealer from the pic to me . They have been more motivated to actually sell cars lately than in past years - I think it has to do with competition from Audi.

I don't understand this either. All of the terms are set in the lease deal. The only logical explanation would be that the dealer had a retail buyer who wanted his car. THAT would make sense since they unload a new car from inventory and flip the lease turn in to a retail sale. That's really the only logical explanation.

The 2011 is worth more than the residual value. Only 35,000 miles on a 45,000 mile lease contract. They bought me out. I am sure it will not be on the lot for long... They sold me a new one, and they have a CPO they can move at a nice profit.

I understand the fact that the market value is higher than the residual because of the low mileage. But rarely does a dealer compensate the leasee if they're under on mileage. Congrats on a great deal.

Thanks to all for your comments!

It's amazing what's standard in this car versus my 2011. Auto dimming rear view and side view mirrors, power seats, passenger side window tilts down in reverse, compass, keyless start, I drive. Spending thousands on packages would have been required to get all those features which are now standard on the 2013!
