Megan exhaust now out for the F30 335i and under $450 bucks!

Seems like a great price for a quality piece, they also have one with burnt tips, Here's the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/MEGAN-4-Dual...sories&vxp=mtr

Interesting. I'm on the fence about the Challenge system. The stock catback uses 3" piping all the way but it bends down to 2.5" in a few areas. The Callenge system also uses 3" piping but does not bend down to 2.5" at all. I'm not sure how much that could actually help.

I do LOVE the sound of the Challenge, just not sure I can justify spending an extra $1000 b/c I like the sound a little more.

I didn't think it sounded that great. But, the price sounds great.

I like the tips, though. Well, the point is moot for me. I'm port installing the M-Performance exhaust and there are no warranty issues.

The Meistercraft and Challenge systems sound amazing.

After listening to the clip vs the Challenge a couple times, I think they sound pretty similar. I guess I'll have to wait until my car gets here to get under it and see how restrictive the stock piping could actually be. I really wanted to have all my parts here waiting for the car but $1000 is $1000

its an axle-back where you have to cut the stock pipe. why not spend 2x and get a proper replacement? Does the M Performance one bolt on or do you have to cut the midpipe?

M Perf is an axle back as well. Gotta cut it...... The reason for exploring something other than a 'proper' replacement is that other than the mufflers, there's really not much of a difference since the 335 uses 3" piping. And its more like 3-4x this price.

My disclaimer is that I don't have the car yet so I haven't been able to confirm what I've read on here. Sounds like the stock system is a pretty good one (other than the muffler and DP).

^^^ I have to agree with this, but adding in for the supposed price of Challenge exhaust it is going to cost around $1500 (I believe). That has to be the best bang for your buck right now. Eisenmann and Meisterschaft both sound bad ass too, but are at least double the price or more than the Challenge.

And I do not think the Megan exhaust sounds the same as the Challenge. The challenge sounds way better, plus it has all those popping cracking sounds in sport mode; I do not think the Megan one had any of that.

I think I want the Challenge exhaust, best bang for your buck.

Yea I think I would have to agree with you. Too bad it doesn't have a valve control like the Meisterschaft.

Anyone else notice the weird thing the exhaust would do when it was going back to idle?

Nice find, but Ill stick to my M-Perf axle back. It sounds way better IMO. And that exhaust doesnt even have the butterfly valve actuator, so how would that work? You just leave it unplugged and throw a code? Or Unbolt the stock actuator and stow it somewhere under the car....eh no thanks...Ill pass.

M-perf = better sound = no dealer hassle = no warranty issues = happy me
