Do I need to clear any codes when returning a leased car

Hey guys, I have a leased 320i that has JB4 Tuner on it. I will be returning it soon since the lease is done. When I remove the JB4 do I need to clear any codes like shadow codes of some sort (i never put anything other then a premium in it)? Or is it ok to just return it as is? I had also done some other codes like DVD in motion etc. Has any one had any experience returning a leased beamer after tuner install / it being coded.

The dealer won't care. They won't check it during the inspection and they automatically clear the codes when they service the car for resale.

Don't worry about it, the "shadow codes" and data logs are automatically picked up and sent to BMW if they plugged your car in when you previously took it in for service. Check the threads on the F80 forums. So either they already know or it just wasn't noticed. As for the coding you had done, those all get wiped out when the software is updated before being put for sale.
