Reset Problem with New Tires and Brakes

Warranty expired 9/30 and sure enough, there came the problem. Recently got new tires and rear brakes, but neither of them could be reset.
- Resetting TPM unsuccessful with following message "Set Pressure in all tires then reset tire pressure monitor TPM". Checked manual on FTM, but I simply don't see 'FTM' where it should be.
- Resetting brakes using the reset button on the panel. Everything seems to be fine, but last step the mileague keeps going back to '-180'.
Followed instructions and asked help from a handy friend. Simply doesn't work... called dealer and sure they can reset for ~$150.

Help!!

tpms

Your TPMS or FTM as it's sometimes referred to can be set by going to vehicle settings. Select reset TPMS or FTM, whichever one it is and after you drive for a couple of minutes at the longest, it should reset. The brakes, I'm not sure about.

Regular reset doesn't work

Thanks for your advice. It simply greyed out and I couldn't reset it the usual way. So now every time I start the engine, the warning messages will come up (one for brake, one for tires). It is annoying. But I have to bear with it before going to have it reset by a professional.

You need to replace your brake pad wear sensor for the rear brakes or the reset will not work.

Are the sensors only on the rear brakes? I replaced the front brakes not too long ago and the reset seems to work perfectly fine. Now the rear brakes have been replaced, but the sensor was not replaced. Thanks.
