Floor net for trunk/boot

The manual refers to a "floor net" that can be installed in the trunk. However, unlike the roof rack it doesn't say that it's an additional accessory.

Can any of you new F30 owners say whether this floor net came with the car or not? Here are some photos from the media section:

Photo 2

There seems to be the big floor net and the small side ones.

Excellent, thanks joe07328xi. And since you're in Edmonton that means it's probably also true for Toronto.

Did it come with the side one too?

Yes, it is included. You'll find it in the compartment in the trunk.

Ya I got one too. It's under the trunk floor compartment. Wouldn't have known about it if it weren't for this thread!

Yep, saw scrunched up it in a plastic bag in the under floor compartment of the boot (trunk) of the car I test drove on Saturday.

It comes with the car, works great for holding down groceries and fragile stuff.

I'm not sure there's any such option for Canada. Can't speak for other markets though.

I'm going to revive this thread to update everyone based on my own experiences. My 335i Sport Line did NOT come with the net, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Also does not come with the warning triangle.

Did find mine in an envelope in the glove box. When I saw the envelope was hoping for cash tough.

Well I went back and checked, but found nothing. Not only that, I've only got two rings on the trunk floor so it's possibly intentional. Maybe this is specific to the Canadian 335i spec? Another Cdn owner on this thread said he had it though... confused.

I also don't have the elastic strap on the right, and the bag hook on the trunk ceiling.

EDIT: I just noticed that those two rings are actually not even the ones that are used by the floor net.

Sorry bro, My GTA F30 335i also did NOT come with a net. I checked all the compartments. Dealer might install if you bug them. Let me know if u try.

It would be nice to hold stuff down cause I drive like a madman.

Oh well, thanks for letting me know. What about the hook, do you have that? I actually think that might be an easy retrofit.

Exactly. I have the side nets. But I haven't looked under the trunk floor. I ordered that package(NL spec) but forgot about that big net.

It is. It's package with two 12v connections/nets at the back of the frontseats and the boot/trunk nets and stuff. Price in the Netherlands is 164 euros....
But it's very handy indeed.
