It's time to say goodbye
Time to say goodbye to the 328i, yesterday spent at my local BMW dealer working out a deal on a nearly new 520i M-Sport - hopefully pick up next week.
The 328i has been a great car, I went from 29k to 73k in 3 and a bit years and almost totally reliable in that time and returned 39.8mpg overall Only non-consumable bits that needed changing were the steering rack (changed under AUC warranty) and both front wheel sensors that were replaced with aftermarket parts for 24 quid each (no problems) The 5 series, as you'd expect, is much more refined and I'm happy to trade speed and performance for refinement, obviously a 520i is never going to be as good performance as a smaller car with more bhp I'll still be on here imparting any wisdom (?) I can, hopefully I've helped a few people on here over the years |

Enjoy the new motor - I hear the refinement is a step above PS - I had a 2012 328i for three years or so and despite it having many issues it was an enjoyable car to drive.
