STOLEN 2016 White 335d MSport (FX16 NWA)

Sadly my 2016 335D was stolen just a few nights ago from my drive in Stoney Stanton, Leicester. I'd only owned the car for a couple of months

It was a 2016 Alpine White 335D M Sport (FX16 NWA) I know it's unlikely BUT if you have any information please drop me a message.

I'm not keeping my hopes up that I will see the car again so I'm trying to move on and find something as close to what I had as possible.

Sorry to hear about your car.
Could you please explain how it was stolen? (If you don't mind).

Ok buddy we have here in the midlands an instagram page called stolencarsmidlands. My friend found his van on there after weeks of searching. It's a community of people who has been affected by such things. The dude who runs it is doing a great job and helping many people. Perhaps search for something like this in your area if your not in Midlands or find the page and send him a d.m, he may have a colleague or friend running something in your area. This is just my 2 cents bud. I hate a f×××er who messes with other peoples shit.

OP - ask the Police (or tell them..) about Operation Cundall.

A few on here have had their cars recovered this way.

Basically, the police contact BMW who (after a bit of form filling) track your car via the onboard GPS and tell them where it is.

Should be known to the police but if not - make it known.

Really sorry to hear this. I'm in Leicester as well and we have had a few trying to get into cars around my village over the past 12 months or so. Mine included. Got cameras up but doesn't seem to be any deterrent.

I got myself a stop lock, spare keys kept at a family members and main keys are always with me so if I'm out and the car is home there's no keys for them to get their hands on. Don't have comfort access which I'm pleased about.

I guess if they want to take it they will find a way but I'm doing my best to make it as difficult as possible. Recently got myself a lockable bollard for the drive which I'm gonna get installed soon too

Hope you get it back and I'll certainly keep an eye out for it around town. It's certainly a car I will notice

You can do it yourself if you have the app on your phone? I can locate my car via the BMW connected App on my iPhone

That will only work if the thief hasn't unchecked the GPS tracking option in the idrive.

Yep I’m in Leicester too and a few weeks ago we had 3 shit heads out side the front of our house trying the front doors and car doors. Police thought they were after the cars. They didn’t have any luck at ours so then moved on and nicked 2 cars from Shepshed 30 mins later which is up the road from us. Nicked a merc and audi I believe. Complete fuckers. Baseball bat is ready for them with various alerts all round the house if they come back!!!!!

Hopefully they aren't that bright. I'm guessing if they make a living from stealing cars then they aren't

Yep, seems to be happening everywhere at the moment, I'm Rothley and I hear regular reports all over our area. Weekends, Daytime, it doesn't seem to matter to them now.

Got my ring chime on and cameras all around. Baseball bat is also at the ready

Mine was recovered using Op Cundall - get that form filled in!!! Did you have the app setup you might be able to track via that as well.

@strongs_uk have you told the Police about Op Cundall - they might not know about it .

Out of curiosity if the cops recover your car is it classed as an insurance stolen recovered, im guessing yes?

If so, the value of it goes down so does insurance pay anything out?

I'd personally not want mine back if it's stolen, as sad as that sounds. I love my car too much, but having known its been stolen and trashed to an inch of it's life, means the cars then tainted to me. I'd rather it disappear.
