My 2015 with OEM 19" staggered setup has 14.5k miles -- rears are almost shot, fronts look like they could go another 14.5k.

My G37 was like that too -- fronts lasted about 2x longer than rears.

Surprised to see people in this thread with rears lasting longer than fronts.

Rears at 17k. How the hell are people getting more miles out of these? These are street miles driving my kids to school.

Looks like my fronts! except my wear is more on the outer edges, not the inner...

I just replaced my staggered S001's with Michelin PSS.
After 1K miles, all I can say is WOW!
-car feels much lighter.
-better steering response.
-less noise.
-better ride quality.

S001's have 10k miles and 2 autocrosses on them and will stay in storage till lease return.

Wow that is some crazy mileage on those s001. I'm on the pirelli p zero runflats and am at around 5.5/32 after only 12,000km (7500 miles)!! That's like half the wear in well under 10,000 miles. Damn

My experience as well, my rears still had plenty of life.

Similar observations since my switch to PSS; better ride, slightly less noisy, they seem grippier, but slightly less precise on steering compared to the S001s. But, I'm happy with the change.

+1. My rears had plenty of life at 25k miles. The front tires were wearing down.

I've had two sets of these tires. First (OEM) set lasted me 34k, second set about the same - getting ready to switch them out again.

Reviews on tire rack have them sub-par on tread life. My E90 came with the PS PS/2's which were a great tire for traction/comfort (still run flats). I had a winter/summer tire setup, and those got me 90,000km between the two sets.

yeah, the thing is, the 19's (403M) weight about 30lbs each, and 18's (400M) weights about 24lbs each.

That's way too heavy. One of the best mods to do to your car is to reduce rotational mass.
403 weigh 28lbs and the 400 weigh 26lbs and the funny thing is with the S001 runflats on each wheel, the 18 inch wheel and tire weight is just about equal to 19inch wheel tire combo.
