To Performance Spoiler or not?

I'm after opinion ions on whether I should add the BMW Performance lip spoiler.

I have one on my current E90 which I think finishes off the rear end nicely, but with the inbound F30 I'm really undecided on whether to add one or not?

I would go body colour (Mineral Grey) instead of CF, but still not convinced as it seems chunkier than the M3 style on my E90. Thoughts?

I think any body coloured performance spoiler looks nice. Not keen on the carbon look though.

I've just ordered mine and on route to me, will attach it when I get the car...

Yep I think a body-coloured lip spoiler would look good as it would be quite subtle.

Wonder if the spoiler would make the rear of the car any more or less inclined to get filthy, given it'll alter the aerodynamics of the boot slightly?

Definitely add it, and I would go for it in carbon fibre.

When I ordered my M3, I also bought the front splitters and rear spoiler (carbon), was so unsure about it on a white car. So pre-pdi I popped over and saw them offered up to the car in the work shop. Took all of about 1 second to realise it was definitely the right move.

So you could do the same, ask to see it offered up before making a decision.

If you plan on doing this yourself, I'd recommend gluing it on - not using the tape. A glue called Betalink is what BMW use.
