Whis tinting so expensive in NYC / NJ
I keep reading on these forums how people are getting their cars tinted w/ a quality brand name in others states like PA, etc. for around $200 bucks. Any shop that looks clean (where you wouldn't mind having your car worked on) around here wants $600. Is it just the crazy inflated price of everything where we live?

they are in auburndale (flushing / fresh meadows/ bayside area) 225 with lifetime warranty. |

wow, makes me wonder how many people they actually sucker into paying $600 for tints. Not sure how they would price an x1, trucks are obviously a bit more than coupes/sedans, but not even close to 600. Run away fast! If you are over 300 that's getting pricy (at legit places with lifetime warranty).

That's bad luck, I had it done on 4 cars and bunch of friend on multiple cars and no issues

Every single morning I see someone pulled over in staten island for Tints, on the brooklyn bound lane of the staten island expressway. Man do i miss having tints, but i sure don't miss getting pulled over and paying the tint tax.
