Replacement interior parts

Has anyone replaced interior parts on their F30+?
It's pretty bland in here and I would love some thought on pretty up parts.
These two areas look fairly easy to replace:

The first piece can't easily be separated from the rest of the door panel. Someone on here painted that strip before though and it looked great. You could also wrap it.

I was hoping for a gloss black piece like this:

Are they interchangeable?

I bought the black ones instead of my blue ones and had to go to the dealer to make it. They had to remove the whole door panel to exchange it. 3 hours of work:-(

They might be plastic-welded from the back. Taking the door card off should give some pointers... Shouldn't be too difficult if that's the case, you can usually drill the little tabs out.

There's no might about it. I bet there's a dozen threads on the subject newer than this one.

M Performance floor mats. I know they are just mats but the grey and the black striping design adds a pop of life to the interior when you open the door

if you have wood trim....omg so crappy on these cars. cant wait to get my gloss black/red stripe OEM set next week.

2 biggest fails on these cars cosmetically, wood grain trim, and the chrome outside grille

It's not the first time a newby hasn't noticed the date on the post he's replying to. What I can't figure out is how they manage to find zombie threads to resurrect.

In my case, I was searching for something and replied without checking the original thread's date 😁

All good. I still never got to replace that top door trim price. I really don’t like the original black

Wrap them, it's not difficult, and you don't have to remove them. You can see mine here, wrapped in silver CF vinyl.

You mean the lower half of the dash board? Many scews and clips but to handle if you remove it alone.
