I ordered Imperial Blue - hoping to get it in about 5 weeks. It seems like nearly every car on the road (not just BMW) these days is silver, gray, white, or black. I wanted something different. Imperial Blue was really the only other color I could see at a dealer. Luckily, I really liked it. If I hadn't been able to see it in person I would have gone with mineral gray which is actually quite nice.
However, I would have loved to be able to have seen some of the other colors in person. I may have chosen Mojave (aka Havana), Sparkling Bronze, or Liquid Blue if I had been able to see them up close. But I was not willing to take a chance on a color I could not see on a car for myself. You really can't rely on online pictures and brochures. I guess it is a double edged sword. These colors are probably even less popular because dealers don't have them in stock for buyers to see in person which makes them less likely to buy, which makes dealers less likely to stock them, etc. |

Mineral Grey & Black Sapphire are neck and neck with Alpine White not too far behind. The shocker to me is that Havanna has not got even one vote as of yet?!

I'm torn between the melbourne red and the glacier silver. I'm coming from a dark blue now so I'd like to stay away from another dark color. Though MG is an impressive color.

I have a saphire black supercharged Z4M, which is my pride and joy, but a whole lot of work to keep clean. I wanted something different. I also had trouble choosing a colour combination without seeing them in person. Also, my wife didn't want a light coloured leather since she thinks it is too difficult to keep clean. Since I wanted the Sport line, that limited the choices to black or coral red. Luckily, we went to a car show and saw all of the colours. We ended up buying a 335i in liquid blue with coral red interior. The combination looks wonderful.

AW, because I saw another customer's order onsite with the sport line, and it looked awesome. It will look even better with the all black grills I'll be getting.

Jet Black for me. I've got a pro detailer that is very familiar with BMW jet black and gave me a full plan for how to care for this soft paint.
I think no other color is as mirror-like and beautiful when properly waxed and maintained. The heavy upkeep is a labor of love for me |

Imperial Blue for me. Looks amazing in the sunlight and appears black at night. Best of both worlds, IMO.

The Imperial Blue is really nice but since my last BMW was Orient Blue (which is really close to IB), I really needed something different....like Melbourne Red.

I've had non-metallic black cars and when properly waxed I think it looks much better than a metallic black. You get that 'reach into the blackness' look. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It's amazing how 98% of the cars I see on the dealers lot are black, white or some shade of gray or silver. I'm going Estoril sight unseen too. My car will be much eaiser to find in the parking lot!

My CA told me not to buy a RED one because he said people are getting tired of the red one after a while and i was wondering if anyone of you had a red car for a long time and get tired of it? I am planing about keeping this vehicle for 10 years.

I've seen in person alpine white, mineral white, black sapphire, mineral gray, imperial blue, melbourne red and glacier silver. With the 328, you can't go wrong with ANY of these colors! They all look fantastic. (I'm guessing havanna, liquid blue, etc look mighty fine too)
Personally...it's Imperial Blue for me. |

When I was trying to make up my mind I did see a Mojave. The color is very "chameleon-ish." In the shade it is gray, but in the sun it has a lot of bronze tones. It is a very pretty color!

What, no Havanna (Mojave in the USA) ordered out there. I must admit I haven't seen any in 3 dealerships I have visited.

The AW with black sport accents looks amazing. It will look even better with the black M grills!

One of the first F30's I ever saw was Mojave (at the dealership). It was a Modern line with beige interior and the crazy wood. The color is pretty but too "luxurious" for me.

Woohoo, I'm the only one (so far) with Havanna (btw, my color is Mojave Metallic, not Havana (yeah, I know it's the same color haha)).
