You're not alone. One of the reasons I chose the lux line is that the rims reminded me of the classic BMW look. But it wasn't only that. I wanted black leather seats and a black steering wheel. The red piping on Sport line is not for me.

The luxury line wheels look way better in person than in the digital renderings on BMW's website. They're the only wheels I'm aware of in the luxury segment that have 20 spokes staggered with 10 large and 10 small.
