328i First full day.

On Saturday we had our first full day with the 328i we decided to have a good drive.

Observations

On paper it is quicker than my traded JCW seat of the pants feel it feels slower I know its not but thats how it feels.

Handling well it aint no JCW but its pretty good.

A long day drive a clear winner over the JCW it is a much more pleasant place to be on a long day trip. But it does loose out to my Discovery 4 for overall comfort.

I am still trying to find a good seating position with the 328i I did get a sore back after a long day in the seat.

Overall the wife and I are very happy with how the car performed yesterday and the fuel economy on a steady motorway cruise was 5.3/100 which is amazing for a car its size. I never saw numbers like this with the JCW.

Agree with you on the seats, does hurt a bit if i am driving for 60 mins + without a break. I find using no lumbar support etc is better for me.

The NSW ClubMINI chapter is supposed to be up and running? If you ever head north for a trip let me know and I will try and arrange a run.
