Never knew it could be this frustrating...
So my F33 has been at the port of exit waiting for a vessel for 9 days...this is more torturing than I thought!
My dealer is in Minneapolis, I'm assuming Baltimore is the entry port? Also, how long does it usually take to travel from the port into Midwest? I'm seeing a vessel on 2wglobal.com leaving for Baltimore on Oct-30 . Really hope that's the one! Thanks for listening. The wait is driving me nuts! |

Same here. Headed to Baltimore port. Waiting since the 20th. Many boats have come and gone. My last 2 BMWs never waiting this long at port. I keep on trying to figure out around what week it should be getting to dealer but it keeps getting later and later every boat it does not get on.

Your dealer (or BMW genius 800 number) will have the most up-to-date information once it's en route. It doesn't normally sit at the exit port for more than 10 days or so, so you should be up soon. Once you know the ship, you can look up the itinerary, and yes, Baltimore is the likely port, though it could probably be NJ as well. Probably add a week for transport once it arrives, then another 4-5 business days for the dealership to process and prep. Yes, the waiting can be excruciating. You should take up a hobby in the meantime. Like stalking port webcams.

Mine finally caught a ship - WW Independence II. Departed 10/30/15. Due into Baltimore 11/12/15. I only know this as I put my VIN into the WW tracking page. I had been checking multiple times per day and it only just showed up in their system early this morning. The automated phone system is always days behind (and the website longer) and still says it's waiting at port. BMW genius will have up to date info for you too. I didn't bother calling them as I now have the info I need.
