Apex EC-7 fitment question

Car: 2014 335 xdrive msport/w big brakes
Current wheels: 18" 400m staggered, 19" 403m staggered

New wheels: Apex EC-7: 18x8.5 ET 35 (all 4)

Questions:

1.) will these clear the big blue msport brakes?
2.) what size tire should I run all around for summer driving?

Let me know. Thanks

oem diameter is 26". 245/45/18 is 26.7". could you do it? yes. i'd just stick to 255/40/18, tho.

I've spent the past few weeks trying to spec wheels..

18x8.5 et34-38 with 255/40/18 or 245/40/18 is 'the' setup. Your choice if you want the slight bulge or square sidewall, and extra grip or less weight/resistance.

The 255s are the exact same as the OEM height 225/45/18 so if you run those in the winter it will look exactly the same. 245s are 7mm smaller..

Either in 45 sidewall would look monster truck ish. Good call on the 18s.

Thank you. If I ran 19x8.5 all around would I still do 35et? And what tire size would you recommend?

+35 is safe.

235/40/19, 26.4" diameter, 10mm stretch on 8.5", little narrow on the tread for me
245/35/19, 25.8", perfect fit on 8.5"
255/35/19, 26"=oem, 10mm slight bulge on 8.5", hardly noticeable

personally i'd do 255 square but any of these would be fine

this is what 19x8.5" +35 w/255/35/19's square looks like, thanks @BIMMERGUY91
