Remote starter price?
Hi, doesn anyone know how much BMW Canada charges to install a remote car starter? I have a 2013 BMW 328i xDrive and I've been thinking of maybe installing one after seeing what this winter is like. I'll probably give my local BMW dealer a call to get a quote, but would anyone here know around how much they usually charge?

OEM? Don't think BMW has an OEM starter kit for the 3er, only current X5 and F10 5er as far as I know unless they introduced more models. If you're asking about aftermarket, they won't install for you.

I may be wrong but last time I checked reputable aftermarket starters were almost $1k for the F30.

no aftermarket r.s. for 2013 f30 bmw period, its 124 hexadecimal incripted ign. and idata and fortins have no plans as of yet to try and break this code.. 2012 is covered tho... For any r.s. advise call Ryan or Dayne at Visions Electronics 780 438 6242. They work closely with Directed on beta testing the German r.s. so if anyone in North America is gonna have an answer for you...... Its them... And they are awesome guys to boot...
