Reverse Camera System Fault / Failure

My camera stopped working today.

On going into reverse, the camera shows for about 1 second (lines and all), then i get a grey screen (2 shades in diagonal), then a warning triangle.

I've attached a photo, and link to a video:

For reference, this is the camera. It's been working fine for months

Hook ur car up to ista n read out fault codes.

Already have - the TRSVC module is no longer showing up , so no error codes to see, which is what’s is leading me to believe the box is faulty

Do you even have a TRSVC? That's for side view cameras. Most of the coding I've done with my rear view camera was in the REM or PDC. The exception was enabling the trailer view, which is done in the HU.

This was a hardware fault.

Got another MMI box and worked without coding.

I have a 2018 740i and the rear camera display used to be full screen now it is half screen display with the other half showing an outline of the car. BMW Genius said: "The large rear view camera view can be achieved when in reverse and the camera button to the left of your gear lever is pressed. This will change the display from the smaller rear view camera and Park Distance Control sensors to the full screen. " But this did not work. Any ideas?
