Any news on F31 Touring?
Hey guys
Anyone hear anything on the upcoming F31 Touring? Besides the obvious 328xi, anyone got anything else? Any dealer rumors? Thx |

Still waiting... I might do an ED if they're available soon enough. I did receive an email from BMW Canada with a blurb regarding the Touring, but no market-specific information - the link in the email goes to the worldwide corporate site.
I think we'll get the 328i xDrive in 8AT form, that's it. There are some rumours regarding a possible diesel variant but I wouldn't hold my breath...

Yeah I keep hoping they bring us a 330d but waiting for BMW Canada is painful.
My dealer told me we wouldnt have cars till this summer. By that time the diesel should be rolled out. Why does it take so long to get these cars into NA. Brutal... |

But because it is an xi the suspension will not be the same. It'll have the same spring set as all the xi cars so lots of tire gap and a less sporty ride.

I am not really considering the "i" since I am in Canada, and it will serve as a daily driving car for us, so I guess "xdrive" would be better, and that extra capacity is welcome. I fully agree with you on the comparison between i and xdrive. |

The M3 may be kept and used as a summer car. As I see the coming new turbo M cars I am not sure I want fake exhaust sounds and a boring bland car. Wtf has happened to BMW M??
I also have my doubts on the upcoming new M3. Everything I see BMW doing with the M brand is the wrogg direction. The GC is gross, the M5/M6 are fat, slow and unremarkable. And the prices just keep going up and up. If the new M3 comes out with a modified N55 engine, then BMW is truly a lost cause and keeping the E90 M3 might be the best decision car wise I can make. The 328xiT will be better in the winter and cheaper on fuel. |

The official answer is No. However, I'd still try to special order it...

Try it, but prepare for opposition - you really have to push hard. The interior code is HAAT I believe.

I do not understand why this is so hard for BMW to bring cloth seats, just b/c the leather has more profit? Do you by any chance know what would be the approximate extra cost? |
