Honestly I wish I had just went with two 19x8.5 ET 35's and called it a day. Everyone has different opinions on whether the staggered setup will mess up the differential or chew up my tires, but so far so good. I haven't felt a thing. I am a little reassured by the fact that BMW will sell you an xDrive with 403M wheels (19x8 F, 19x8.5 R \ 225-40-19 F, 255-35-19 R) with the same tire size as my car. So it "should" be ok... This is on the highest setting (all around) for the KW Street Comfort Coils. Last edited by Regulator; 02-07-2017 at 05:55 PM.. |

Trying to decide whether to go +35 or +40 in the rears. Will be running 265/35.
OEMconcept Any differences with the concave face to the 2 different offsets? |

I'd say ride quality is better than stock. It doesn't bob/dive when starting/stopping and it doesn't lean at all in corners. At the same time it is very comfortable and glides over bumps on my daily commute.... but oh man when you bottom out the suspension or hit a pothole you and everyone in the car will definitely know it lol. I'm very happy overall. None of my previous cars on lowering springs were as comfortable.

Here is my setup - replicas 19x8.5 and 19.9.5- tire setup 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 Pirelli all season tires, only thing is the rears look stretched. Could have gone with a wider setup, was just concerned might have rubbed, but not the case.

Wheels look good, I wouldn't go that stretched personally however. Where did you get the wheels at?

I'm not happy with the look of rear being stretched, but no biggie, will get wider setup next round now that I know it won't rub. I got them from s9store on ebay

Here's my setup from OEMConcept - 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears wth Michelin PS4S 225/40 and 255/35. Rears are ever so slightly stretched IMO but definitely not excessive. Will probably run a 235/265 setup next time around. Attached a few close ups to show fitment (excuse the dirty car).
Really liking the new look compared to my OEM 397Ms (now relegated to my winter set). The grip from these tires is impressive and the road noise is minimal - making the switch from RFTs was probably the best mod I've done so far

Here they are on an F31. Holding up great for me 4 months in. Absolutely no issues so far. Love the fact they hide the brake dust so well.

Good looking shoes! Question: what color are those? Hard to tell from the pics. I'm stuck between the stain gun metal/black or the black machine faced. I'm not digging the bright silver and black contrast. I prefer the gunmetal/black colors that look more like the stock OEM 437m Version and yours kinda looks like what I want. Thanks!

Hi Guys,
I am new here (after following the forum for days offcourse) I really like the 473M for my F31 glacier silver MSport but cant find any pictures of these wheels with my color car (let alone the touring model..) I am also very interested in the gunmetal look but they seem really hard to find among all the black ones. Can you guys help me a bit with this (and proper J/ET sizes for stock adaptive suspension without rubbing?) I am a experienced google searcher but am lost in all the different data and info Btw, Im hoping S9 ships international... Can someone tell me why on some cars the same setup 8.5/9.5 with 225/255 looks stretched on the front according to the owner and for others the back? Is this personal opinion or are these different wheels? (Platty/thatf30guy/16PP428) ps: do you guys know this shop? http://www.********.com/index.php?ro...product_id=914 Last edited by DRuw; 05-17-2017 at 12:43 PM.. Reason: shop added |

Hello d_a_m thank you! they are gun metal with silver, very subtle which I liked as well. Will take a picture during the day tomorrow closer so you can see it.
Druw- from what I have seen depends on tire brand, even though they are the same size some will sit more square on the wheel then others. That being said my setup could have gone to 265 vs 255 for a better fit. |
