320d ED / Efficient Dynamics
Hey.
I did try a search but it didnt really help as it just gave me endless results and didnt seem to actually search for my keywords of "Efficient Dynamics". So; Can you upgrade the wheels on the ED? I'd heard previously you couldn't for whatever reason, but thought I'd ask in here for some expert advice. I would want to upgrade to some OEM wheels not aftermarket. Cheers

No reason why any standard F3x wheel won't fit (other than M3/M4).
The ED cars come with low-rolling resistance tires; use something else. |

This added to my confusion; from the BMW website are attached snips. The selection as seen is ED from 2011 (F30 model) and it displays some 14 products. Clicking on the 400M it then states in the description "not for 320i EfficientDynamics and 320d EfficientDynamics." In case it was to do with alloy size being too large I clicked on the 393, 17's Same text "not for 320i EfficientDynamics and 320d EfficientDynamics." Why would they say this?? See why I was

The wheels do fit, but as the EDE models are subjected to tax discounts because of their low emissions with those aerodynamic 16 inch wheels, they don't allow you to order large wheels from factory. You can after delivery.
