N20 turbo oil feed pipe issue common?
Hello from across the pond...
in the UK 99% are diesel drivers so would not get a adult response from this enquiry It appears I have a smokey start up and some digging on the net suggests its going to be the turbo oil feed pipe. Is this a major issue, anyone had it replaced. Car is under warranty so fingers crossed they will sort it FOC Thanks |

I also had my oil feed line replaced under warranty. Usually only happens when the car sits for over 12 hours and the oil accumulates.
After they fixed my oil feed line I had an engine fire; failure of the new oil feed line dripped oil onto the catalytic converter. Also fixed under warranty. Now I have sludge in the engine and Vanos failures. I think it is time to look at something other than a BMW. Good luck. George |
