Trying to get more "sporty"

Howdy folk of f30post.

Soooo to make a long story short I want to make my car a little more "sporty" looking just short of going M Sport.

So far Im going to get a custom lip (I think or may just go H Style)
some new springs and making the chrome trim black.

i thought of either powder coating the wheels black or a gun metal gray(both would be gloss)--I have devised two terrible photoshops to accompany this idea:

....thoughts/comments/ideas?

Spacers are on their way, iffy on the side blades, have a performance spoiler, drop will be on its way.

I guess this is for wheel color.

Since your car looks like it's an X-Drive, I would say a mild drop will help out a lot. As for wheel color, unless you're a big fan of back wheel, I would personally go for a gun metal color on the wheels.

I think the wheels look better in black than they do in the OEM color. No offense, but IMO those wheels are not that sporty...I think a wheel change would change the look of the car to a more sporty look. I personally love gunmetal color, unless you want all black on your car. Wheels are such a personal thing though.

doesn't matter what you do with these alloys these will never make car look sporty , you will need 437M alloys to make proper sporty still subtle look IMHO.

i would say
437M alloys
Tint front bumper lens black
Spoiler

this should it for now i think

Hey OP.
I believe we have the same trim.
Luxury trim, which comes with the 18" 416 wheels.

Like you, I did not like how executive it was, and wanted to change it up a little bit to make it look a little more aggressive.

So the mods I've done are:
Switch to 19" 442m wheels.
Black grills.
Black gloss window trim. (To be done)

Before and After:

It's look a lot more aggressive.
The wheels make a huge difference.
I agree with the others, no matter what colour you paint your wheels, the luxury line style 416 wheels won't change that.

That looks great. Someone is selling 400m wheels. Maybe I'll give that a go

I'm in the middle of my exterior mods right now - here's what i'm doing with some pics. I know you said you don't want to go to m sport - I was on the edge about it for months, but i could not be happier with it. I was a few weeks from buying the m sport bumper, and i guess got 'lucky' - someone backed into my car so I got it for free along with the skirts.

Done:
Sport line ==> M Sport Bumper/Skirts
Stock Wheels ==> Vorsteiner vff 103
Stock Tires == > Michelin PS4S
IND Painted Reflectors
Already had KW v1 @ 1inch drop

Ordered/To Do
M Performance type splitter (Mette black) by RW Carbon
M4 type spoiler (carbon fiber) by RW Carbon

I'm either getting side skirt extensions or just the m performance vinyls.

Hi, i got an F30 AW sportline, was also trying to get it a little more sporty looking!

so here's what iv'e done so far,

Performance exhaust tips
M3 replica grilles
blacked out diffuser rear and chrome whiskers in the front
18" Y-spoke rims
black Performance trunk spoiler
Eibach ProKit springs.

next thing will be the 3D style front lip

and there is much more to come.

hoping to give you some inspiration!

this is the look i'm going for:

Those front reflectors gotta go. I picked up a set of painted ones from Bimmian a few weeks ago but haven?t had time to do a proper install, plus it?s been hot as hell lately.
