N13 1.6 litre turbo, same engine as the F20 116i.

I have driven 1.16i, and the feeling was nice, even though it is less powerful than 3.20i.

That's a very little amount of power in what is a fairly large car! The old 16i in the 1 Series was bloody awful, I hated every minute driving it. The 116d is a much finer motor! I hope this new 16i is a much improved affair.
But still, will it move? That is the question.

It has 136ps & 240Nm of torque, so as long as the engine is on-boost, it should be fine.

Well the New 316I now uses a 1.6 turbo(twin scroll) engine instead of the previous 1.6 non turbo engine.
Specs: 136 hp & 220 nm . 0-100 km/h = 8.9 (6 spd M)

Lots of oil in Egypt/Middle East so why a 1.6i? Get as big an engine as you can get.

They tax imported cars based on engine size and # of cylinders in Egypt. My 335i there would cost the equivalent of k$200+!!!
