F30 320i H&R Spring Install Finally (with pics)
Ok so I just got my car back from the dealer yesterday and I must say I'm amazed at the way the car looks, it's looks great. It's lowered just enough. I noticed on the way back that the car did feel a little bit more "bouncy" when going over bumps. My new question is this, where do I go from here. I've been seeing a lot of people installing Bilstein B8 on the car, what is everyone's thought on these ? I also am wondering about the EDC, how does that come into play when changing the shocks and struts. Thanks for the help and enjoy the pics

I have 18x8.5 all the way around I do believe. They are just like the sportline wheels but the offset is a little more aggressive. I just want to hear from people who have the bilstein b8 and how hard they were to change. I could prolly do the rear shocks by myself but the front struts I'll have to take in.

I was thinking about buying a set of koni shocks and springs. Does anybody have any experience with them? They are adjustable which is a plus. I also like the Koni FSD but couldn't find them for my model. Input guys ?

Stock Springs.
The ride is better as you go faster. I suppose the stock springs are too stiff in fact. So on lower speed the compression is OK- no pitches, no hits on your liver, but the spring pushes the car up so strongly, the damper is stopping it a little too strict and fast I would say. Seems the stock dampers gave the springs more travel on rebound, softening that "shot" of the spring with several movements until fully dampened, whil the Koni just stop the spring at one point. When faster than 60km/h and up it runs perfectly. Highway driving is a full confidence- complete eliminationon floating and jumping rear. So I'm considering on M-Technic springs as those are only -10mm from the stock (I really cannot lower the car due to the roads and snowy/icy winter)

How is the ride. I am new to the thread. I want to lower my car and thinking of the H&R Sport Spring combination of Bilstein Strut or give give a Bilstein B14 a try. I don't need to go super low just wanted lower maybe 1.5 inch all around. thanks
