Bbb...bbbut Tom Cruise used it a few years ago in India to save the world from disaster.
And Jezzer who loves all things vroom and gas sucking picked it over the M3. The i8 is a statement machine. Maybe they might be a Mi8 one of these days? |

Hi everyone,
I found a 2018 420i (f32), in a great condition, with alleged 18K kms. The seller claims he bought it with zero kms in 2020, and did not drive it much since. Is there a way he could have rolled back the milage? Is there a way the history can be checked? Regular VIN check sites don't yield results. VIN: WBA4S3100JAC84981 |

Honestly, I have checked the car. The leather on the seats is like brand new. No wrinkles. The car smells new. The only question I have is: does it make sense that the car was imported from Lebanon to Dubai, and driven 18Kkms since 2020?

That's very possible. There are many reasons a vehicle doesn't get driven much. In 2020 I bought a 2 year old car with 4,000 miles on it. Judging by the locations it was registered in by the sole owner, I believed it was a retirees weekend ride or a snowbird's vehicle.

It isn't easy to reprogram modern cars. There's various modules that communicate with each other to see mileage. If one module is higher than the other it will default to the highest. Not saying it isn't impossible, but not worth the trouble for your average shady car dealer trying to make a quick buck.
But if the car looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it might be a barely used duck (gross ). |
