Would anyone would know where to buy this Euro specs tail lights? Any part number and would they fit on US F30 models?

I would really like to do this so if anyone finds pics of it done or a source to buy from I would be greatly appreciate the info... I hope this isn't some 500 dollar price tag for a light housing...

I think the all red is much cleaner.

(*I love reviving old threads, as long as still relevant)

I know that you can get amber colored LED turn signal lights for the rear. That would keep the enclosure red - but blink amber. That might be a good compromise for some.

Yeah I noticed in the few Euro-spec taillight assemblies I've seen for sale (for over $400!) that they still appear to be red when not blinking.

The US ones definitely look red, and blink red.

Thanks for the tip mcli - I'll look into just getting the LEDs.

Orange definitely is easier to see than red during daytime when the sun is directly on it.
This might be a good mod regarding... Safety

I've always wondered why so many manufacturers have gone to the all red lighting set up... I have always like amber/orange turn signals. They are much more noticeable in many scenarios.

I look forward to seeing the costs associated with this mod

But seeing as how the housing is red would the light still show through as yellow/amber?

I don't get how the US has to have the orange reflectors on the front bumper, but then the rear taillight blinkers are red.
Makes no sense at all.
Well, I guess it wouldnt matter in most US states because no ever bothers to use them anyway.

White/amber for front of the car, red for the rear. If the brake and headlights are off, you know the front from the back just by the blinker color.

It's like a boat - the port side has the red light, the starboard side has the green, and the rear has the white light

I'm in the UK and I've casually browsed to see if it's possible to get the US style lights because I prefer the all red look!
