WTB: Chrome/Steel steering wheel trim

I would like to replace the black trim with a steel or chrome one that is common on other lines.

Anyone know where to get these? Also is the replacement easy? Is there a DIY?

you have to pop the steering wheel off, disconnect the battery, then pop the airbag off, THEN unscrew it all off.

Not worth effort IMO...

FWIW I believe I saw another thread somewhere on here where a person said that due to the base steering wheel being slightly different than the line ones, that trim piece won't fit period properly with the airbag. Might have to just get a whole new wheel.

This, might have been my thread even.

If you have the base steering wheel, the trim pieces from any of the 'line' cars will not fit properly.
