Missing Volume Indicator

Hi

I have a F30 320D 2013 model in India. One annoying bit is the missing volume level indicator.

Is there an option that displays the volume level on the screen when i increase or decrease it..like in % or something 65..66..67

thanx a ton!

I feel your pain. It's quite annoying not knowing what the volume is set to, especially when I stream from multiple sources. I've often experienced listening to something at a normal volume, switching sources and having something extremely loud. Can't figure out how to see a volume indicator.

It's only available on the 2014 models so your build date has to be 07/13 or higher.

Mine is a 01/2014, business navigation, but no volume level indicator? Where it should be? Maybe it's only for professional navigation?

Yes that's correct. You must have option 609 Navigation System Professional to have this on a 2014 model.

Man, that is outrageous. It should be included in a software update or something =\

Mine doesn't have it either, but I've since grown accustomed to it and it seems like my volume is fairly consistent across sources.

Or, even better, iDrive should have an adjustable volume level for each source, for radio, CD, USB and AUX. Not only for AUX, because, for example, I had to increment gain on my mp3's, and such operation could introduce distortion
