Retro of ConnectedDrive apps?
Hi All,
Is it possible to retrofit the connected drive services? I would love to access real time traffic and some of the other features available. |

I would love to know. I heard that it had to be installed from factory, but if the car can contact the dealership when it needs a service, surely it connect to the Internet.

It can be coded yes. In the earlier F30s, if you didn't order BMW Apps, you didn't get the combox. That's standard now, so it's just enabling a code. This can be done legit by a dealer, or with cable retro'd.

yeah when my car goes in for its first service, I'm going to give them a list of codes to put in for me hahaha If they don't do it, I have a cable, and will do it myself. I'm not busting for it.

Well there are plenty they won't do. I'm pretty much going to try get them to retro Apps, Internet, Office (dunno why mine's not coded to start with).
Then other things I'll do will be like unlocking video from USB, DVD in motion etc. |
