435i+PPK now, or wait for the M440i?

Just started using my 300 hp, DSG, 4Motion Golf R while still keeping the 528xi for long trips. Sure it's luxurious in comparison, but geez - does it now seem even heavier and slower I'm agonizing over what to swap it with, that would:

- wear the BMW logo (or maybe not?)
- be comfortable enough for those long trips of mine
- be powerful and agile enough to close the gap there is now between my 528xi and the R

I didn't exclude the M235i yet, but lean more towards the 435i more (due to less inferiority to the F10 in the interior refinement and ride comfort). However, it's still 300 hp only - the M-PPK could be answer, but perhaps I should wait for the alleged M440i? Does anyone "close to BMW sources" know when (and if) this is going to be available here in EU?

It depends how soon you want your 300+ car. The M440 or whatever BMW will call it is at least 2 years away assuming it is coming at all. If I was in the market for such a car I would order either a 435 or M4 now.

Id keep the 5 if I were you. If you want to drive fast, drive the Golf. I have a C6 GS for when I want to drive fast so I ordered a 328i since its fast enough to commute and take trips in.

If you wait for the 440 they will change that it 2 years again anyway. If you want it now get it. I have the 335hp 435, and it's amazing and fast. You'll love it.

I agree except OP is from Poland. I wonder if M3 costs an arm and a leg over there...

The M3/M4 are indeed terribly expensive here, and as to 'more options' I don't quite follow - please elaborate.
