Car wash kit for F30 $23 at Auto Zone

So I purchased these car wash soap, sponge and drying towels from Auto Zone. About 30 minutes of hand washing and drying on my driveway and the car came out awesome! Thought that the wash and wax all in one was more of a gimmick but it seems to work! It is about 123 washes per jug of soap so not bad for $23 vs paying my detailer $25 a wash. (Though they do clean the interior and put tire dressing).

I have heard to stay away from Turtle Wax and Armor All. Are their soaps ph neutral?

I am skeptical of the drying towels as well. Have you checked they don't cause scratching when used properly?

I washed my car in a pinch and it turned out good. Needed to get it cleaned before bimmerfest. Saw a YouTube vid and the results looked good as well. Any scratching I have so far are from the dealer car washes. It's difficult to pass up a free car wash and they may do it anyway even if I tell them not to.

I used Turtle Wax Products for a while. They have been around forever. Then I switched to Maguire's and find them far superior. They are more or less the leaders in commercial, non-specialized car care products. Cost a bit more but I think very much worth it.

I too like turtle wax. It is the cheapest out there but I wouldn't thumb my nose at it. They make some great stuff.
