C'mon what would suburbia America and Rap stars do without Escalades? Cadillac actually sells well across the US and in China. One of GM's few profitable brands.

All the brands GM has left are profitable. They dumped the losers years ago. The remaining 5 US brands all make them profits.

I never raise the hood anymore and I'm beginning to wonder what's under there!

After the engine warms up, how long does it take to read the oil level? Do you think it's accurate?

Takes about a minute on level ground. I like dipsticks too. But if the sensor is accurate, then I'll go with it. I look under the hood every week to clean the dust and dirt that accumulates and Armorall the gaskets.

I like BMW's .. heck I own one, but I'd never use BMW's reliability as a selling point against any brand.

No one in Canada even owns a Cadillac. Not sure if they even sell them here. Is it really that popular in the US?

Any the styling...thats an ugly car.
Maybe out West but there are tons of Caddy's here in the GTA. Mostly Escalade's but lots of CTS's too.

CTS-V is a serious performance car but it's M3 money so if I had to choose I'd take the BMW.

ATS is promising and I agree competition among brands is good for the consumer. Won't hold out for the next IS; Lexus latest styling is over done especially the front ends.
