I hope you realize you are blinding oncoming drivers with your "retrofitted" HID bulbs. You never drop an HID bulb in a free form halogen reflector housing. The light sources are completely different and not interchangeable.

i just tie the wire hardness and ballast together once the bulbs are installed, and tucked it inside the headlight housing before putting the round plastic dust cap back on. I've got the slim ballast HID kit, so it will fit right in there. |

Actually, since i've installed this kit, i havn't got any high beam flashes from on coming traffic yet. The BMW light housing is designed to aim the light down, if you look inside, there's a metal sleeve surrounding the light bulb, that's to reduce glare. I've found the only time the light will cause glare is when the light is dirty. that's why headlight washer for cars equipped with HID is mandatory in the earlier days. so, just make sure you wipe your headlight clean even if you can't wash your car. |

Ok so I got some HID's and I thought taking out the bulb and installing the HID's would be a piece of cake, but I can't seem to figure out how to lock the lowbeam bulb back in place. I tried everything and went at it for hours, did I bend the clips when i pulled it out?
Any suggestion would help greatly. Thanks. |
