Its in Brunswick. Should be @ lauderdale this week. I don't work for BMW, although my CA says I should.

And you, which dealer? When is your car arriving? I think by now you know you will get the old Nav unless you plan to wait for 7/2013 production.

Nah, didn't know that and also can't wait (already extended my lease two months). My car is in Brunswick as well awaiting a ride to Braman WPB. They have to install the performance exhaust and black kidneys before it hops a ride, I believe. Hopefully by next week it's here?

Our F30 Msports were produced 2 days apart. You were likely on the Florida Highway which arrived in Brunswick on 11/30.

What spec did you order?

Estoril Blue/Black Msport 335 with every option and added performance exhaust and black kidneys. Have some 19" MORR wheels currently being made too. You?

My car went into production first week of Dec in Regensburg. (Just slipped it in as they were starting 335 builds). Pickup is the 17th. Any partictular feature or indicator I should look for to tell old from new? (I'll be fine with either, but I can do some detective work if anyone's interested.)

Euro spec or US spec car on order? If Euro spec you will have the new Nav. If US, you won't.

But your Dec build will have a new Nav LCD part # (no idea what changed with LCD) and a new side mirror housing part # (also no idea what they changed).

Enjoy it.

Correct for F30. MY14 will introduce the new Nav for F30 gas cars. Maybe the Spring released diesels will get it earlier.

Well shucks. The 3D acceleration would have been nice. The LTE hotspot would have likely been unusable though. I've already been told that my U.S. spec BMW Assist won't work in Europe due to different SIM cards, and since we'll be here 1-3 years, its not worth pining over.

On the other hand, the existing system I played with in the 328 I test drove was fantastic. Amazing the perspective you have when you're coming from a Jetta you had just gotten who's big feature is touchscreen audio. =)

Neat on the other parts though. Always nice to have some kinks worked out. =)

Sometimes part changes are for improvements. Other times they're for cost savings or because component in previous part became end of life.

Anyone experiencing issues with Satellite radio with the new iDrive?

Mine goes back to channel 184 (preview channel) evertime I start the car, as opposed to the last station. It also goes back to 184 after a bluetooth call. I have it setup for 1 free year, and none of the previous BMWs I have owned have done this - they always revert to whatever I was listening to last....

You need to call Sirius and have them re-send the activation signal to your car.

Just did a ED on a 335xi and have to say it is amazing. Been driving around Bavaria with a giant grin on my face. One surprise on the nav is that it shows 3d images on the highest magnifications and in Munich (25m and 50m scale). So no complaints at all about the current nav.

(Have a pic but can't figure out how to include)

The screen changes to a different part number with Dec builds. This is likely just a supplier or some other minor change that doesn't impact performance.

I guess? But it is more likely that the world will end tomorrow.

Agree, it isn't the new nav. But the old one is still nice. And the car is awesome!
