At this rate you may wanna just consider an off the lot, or maybe one of the lease trade offers on this forum.

Sorry to hear.

What is the production status of the car on order? Is a production week assigned? If so, when? Is the car 133Q (German) production?

We want to help, but need more info from you.

Find a dealer that has an actual allocation, and is willing to give it to you.
If a dealer truly has an allocation, then estimated delivery will be around 8 weeks give or take, but it shouldn't take 4 months.

You do have the option to buy off the lot.
Another option is to find a dealer willing to work with you on a car that is in the "pipeline", meaning it's a new car that is not a customer order, and can be rerouted from the original ordering dealer to your dealer.
Dealers can look into these cars and get their configurations. There may be a couple optioned to your liking. Delivery will be much quicker.

Good luck.

Sport auto has nothing to do with delay as its the same equipment as the 8at just with different software and paddles. my guess is the dealer sold you a car and didn't have allocation when you bought it. 335 allocation slots are harder to come by versus 328s and it would seem the dealer is trying to cover their a$$ on this one. Until the status bar shows its in production, you have quite few weeks left unfortunately.

Ask the dealer when the allocation date is and see what they say. Then contact other dealers to see if they have availability any sooner.
being a CA at a dealership, i think you are probably spot on with your assumption. If we don't have an allocation at my store we will usually just dealer trade for one so you don't have to wait so long..

If you have a signed order form with a listed total cash delivered, look on the back. There should be clause 6a) which clearly states the delivered price listed on the front is final and binding contract price, and cannot be changed due to changes in manufacturer's price, shipping costs, or changes in services rendered by dealership. The only way they can charge more is if they re-evaluate your trade-in if you are doing a trade-in.

Yes, try to find another allocation. I got a 112 status on Dec 8th that happened to still be modifiable. My car is due here Jan 20th (give or take a few days).

Also make sure you get something from Germany, avoid SA if you don't want to wait.

contract date is probably the date that you got the quote. lets say you buy the car that day, the contract date would then be that day.

that looks like a good deal, also they are giving you the money factor at what we get it for from BMWfs. your getting a $50k plus car for $500 per month before tax, thats a good deal.

are those the figures that you are paying? of so it's a good deal, I have no clue why it would show a contract date of 01/09/13. that looks like a print out of the quote screen from the sales manages computer. the date doesn't really have any bearing on the deal in your case.

Ya that's what I am going to pay. We locked in on those payments. You work at a dealership is there anyway I can give you my production number and other info you need to bring up my portfolio. These guys are not giving me a straight forward answer. I would really appreciate it !!!!!! If there is anything you can do. Maybe you can go on the dscnet and see where my car is and if they're lying about their allocation.
