That is a pre-production car and it did not have the brake cooling ducts installed

Here on another car you can see the brake cooling ducts close off the hole on the side to the intercooler.

Those pics seem to show the area around the fogs blocked off. In other pics they have additional coolers there.

Ones is a oil cooler and one is a extra water cooler on that 335i M Sport.
