Oil Change
i have a FBO f30 2013 335, last time i changed the oil was 11 months ago, since then i have been topping-up the 1Litre oil almost every 1.5 k miles as per the idrive alarm "top-up 1 litre of oil".
since April 2016, i have did 6k miles (and did 4 top-ups) and the idrive is telling my that my oil due change is due in 3k miles. is that right? do i wait for the 3K as per the idrive or i do change my all 8 litre oil plus oil filter now? |

Somebodys been sipping lots of oil
I would do a full oil change as your coming due but it sounds like you are expecting it to solve your oil sippin problem which it wont.. |

as per http://mywikimotors.com/n55b30/
Oil consumption , L/1000 km (qt. per miles) up to 0.7 (1 qt. per 850 miles) so it supposed to be normal oil consumption |

I went 6-7k without a oil change and my oil came out extremely dirty. If it keeps leaking, check your oil filter gasket. |

any sort of oil consumption is not normal consumption.
I recommend you find a good quality 5w40 oil to slow the burning. I dont know what you have in Egypt, but look for something synthetic like shell rotella, motul, redline oil, AMSOIL, liqui moly, etc. take it easy on the car man! you will burn less oil if you dont drive so aggressively. also, make sure oil is warm before driving hard. |
