the rest of the 4 series is awesome though, better looking and sleeker, IMHO, than it's sedan counterpart and for me it's more practical size-wise than the M235i...i can't imagine trying to fit anyone in the rear seats of that 2
I love the M235, heck it's lighter and more powerful, but I can't get over how puffy it looks

Obviously we all like different cars otherwise there'd only be one car in the world. Variety ftw.

Agree. I clearly remeber the day I first saw an F30 on the road for the frist time and thought to myself that looks heaps better than the previous model, they have done a really good job. Always liked the look of bimmers but just thought this range was a bit more of a bolder step and to me was a good decision.

Dare I say best all-around gen for all models in BMW history? Even those 5-star dual spoke variations we see are so much better than 99.9% of aftermarket wheels (see post above). So sick.

<---- Appropriate 100th post.
I agree, best Line-Up and really agree with you comment about the wheels.

I love my 435, such a great car all around.

<-----Hey my 100th post too

+1. I've been in my F32 MB Msport for just over a month and each time I visit the forum to check out the great posts from other owners and then go back and actually look at the car, I do feel that pics don't do it justice. It's quite odd but also a powerful side effect of what I feel is one of BMW's most provocative looking cars today. The opposite reaction would have been catastrophic and I'm glad that in the flesh, even when compared to photoshopped photos, the car has the presence to exceed my expectations.

I know this is a old thread but oh man is this true. I was set on the 3 series m-sport because I didn't like the look of the 4 series coupe. It just looked oddly shaped especially with the way it curved in the back like a weird hump...

I saw a BSM 435i today at the dealership and I FELL IN LOVE...

I'm going for a BSM 4 series coupe FOR SURE now.

Plus it just is more fun to drive than the 3 series and even though it's the same engine, it sounds better in the 4 series, whether the N20 or N55

I hope mine looks as great!

So does it look better in person, or better in this photo?

I like the F30 better. You know what they say about opinions...
I agree 100%! I saw a Carbon Black GC in the showroom this week, and the lines were indeed lost, it shined, but looked small and undefined like a nissan 240z.

I really think it's the color of the Car and the photographer, the lighting etc. That makes this car look great in photos.

The videos now on the other hand all make the cars look pretty decent!

In my eyes the F32 always gets compared with the M4/M3 because they share the same front end. And because of that comparison, the F32 always loses. The M-Sport does look derpy in some angles and the side vent looks like looks like the designers were forced to make something "not as cool" as the M4 instead of making the M4 cooler than the F32; That F32 vent is just awkward.

The F30 on the other hand has its own thing going. It's more angular and the M-Sport looks good in almost every angle including in photographs. However I do think the F30 looked old as soon as the F32 came out.

All in all, I think this current line up of 3 and 4 series are beautifully designed except maybe the 3GT.
