Anyone know if Style 197 rims will for a Gran coupe?

Found out the long hard way that the winter rims i used on my 328 wont clear the callipers on my 2015 435 GC....

I found someone locally selling a set of Style 197 wheels, but was hoping to get a confirmation that they would fit if possible

When i call BMW, they say the offset of my car at 18" is 34, and that the 197 appear to be 34 front and 37 back and should fit.....Though i know you guys are more knowledgable than the service guys, so any help is appreciated!

thanks

197's are E90 wheels, best to go with F30 wheels imo.

The one potential issue with the 197 rears is that they stick out by 10mm compared to the F30 standard 8.5" wheel (E90 8.5" wheels have ET37 vs F30's ET47). So, some fender rubbing is theoretically possible. You need to find someone who has any 8.5" wheel of the E90 generation on their F3x car and can confirm the fender clearance.

That would actually make them fill the arches better, I've put 15mm spacers on rear so 10mm would be fine.

What's the width and ET of the wheels you use the spacers with?

Not sure if this have any effect but F series use a bigger wheel lug than E series

Based on those offsets, you should be fine. I would assume you're using a narrow section width tire for snows...
