Question Wallenius Wilhelmsen Vessel Tracking Question

Once a Wallenius Wilhelmsen ship has left Bremerhaven, how soon after that does their tracking website https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/ start recognizing a BMW VIN if the vehicle is on the ship, and basically confirming that your car is certainly on one of their vessels?

The WWL ship which now has my car onboard left Durban on Sep 12, yet it took around 18hrs (approx) after the Glorious Leader left port for my car's status to be updated.

It's a WWL issue. Very slow to update.

Mine actually picked it up the second day - I've heard that's unusually fast. You only get to track it until it's off the continental shelf, but you pick it up again once it's off the coast. I'm in Pittsburgh so mine came in through Baltimore - I was able to find some traffic cams with a view of the harbor and caught a screen capture of the boat coming in - the tracking really is close to realtime. By the way, I lived in Rochester for 10 years - get snows.

Mine actually appeared on the WW Track and Trace the same day it was loaded.

My vehicle had been on the ship for three days, and was docked at Southamton before the W&W site acknowledged receipt and loading. The BMW 800 number still says my car is at the port, and the ship is more than half-way across the Atlantic...

You could also be on a Kline ship, depending on where your port of entry is.

Mine was on an ARC ship and it took 3-4 days to show up on the WW site listing.

On a WW ship and it actually showed up as "Booked" on the Tristan a day before it was loaded, then "Received at Terminal" the next day, and finally "Loaded on Vessel" a couple hours later.

That said, it seems to vary and many others have noted a lag of a couple days or not even knowing at all until after the car reached the destination port. I would also note that our car was sitting at port for almost two weeks before being loaded.
