Labor for installing accessories/aftermarket parts?? Springs, Exhaust, Sirius
Just looking for some input on the labor rates people are paying for accessories. Several of the local European independent shops are telling me $90-98 per hour, and are unsure of how many hours it will take them to swap out my springs for H&R Sports, and then perform an alignment. I'm also looking to install the M Performance exhaust.
My local BMW dealership service advisor quoted me the following over the phone: Sirius- $65 labor + $350 for the enable code Springs- $750 for the fronts!! + $265 for the rears M Performance Exhaust- $258 I would really appreciate if any of you could share how much you paid to have your aftermarket springs or M Performance exhaust installed. Springs and Exhaust DIY bro lol. Honestly take a day off work and you could get it done. The exhaust should just be a bolt on one correct? And you could get all the supplies you need to do the springs at any Autozone, pep boys, or O'Reilly's.
Its a good learning experience and it'll save you a ton. Just get some guys from the forum who live close by to help. Mod Meet  |

I got quoted $798 + tax for the installation of H&R Sport Springs by my BMW dealer.
They quoted me (if I remember correctly) around $295 for installing the M Performance Exhaust. How much are they quoting you for the M Perf. Exhaust itself?
