is your car already produced?... vin's are issued very early in the production process. IF your car has been produced and is at the port waiting for a ship--then you might have luck looking it up under "cargo ID" on Wallenius website (though in all the cars I've ordered I have NEVER seen my vin show up on their site)
Your SA should be able to let you know if its on a ship--..otherwise just ask him the latest status--or status code---with that code, you can do a quick search, and see where the car's at. |

The bmw canada rep said the production date was october 14 2013 does that mean they started buildin the vehicle on october 14 or is that when its finished the build? How long does it usually take to catch the ship?

Assuming you get on a WW vessel once they have taken possession of your car using your vin in the cargo id field will let you know what ship it's on.

My best advice to you is this, run a VIN check on it to make sure the build looks correct. My dealer messed up my build, and I could have caught it early on if I'd have done that.
