Question about 19in wheel option

For the m package. If I opt for the 19s, will the car stand taller than with the 18s. It seems like I'd get be sitting a half in taller than the normal 18s.

Also if yes would my front bumper have better clearance when going over those cement parking blocks?

I'm always scraping those and I hate it so I'm thinking if I order the 19s the car will sit a littler higher and I can avoid scraping. Sometimes just half an inch or an inch makes a difference.

No, the 19's have lower profile tires than the 18's

Ride height will be the same

No the car won't sit taller. Less tire bigger rim MUCH better looking. I have the 19 Msports and soon 20" projects. You will be happy with the 19's over the 18's.

Stop going over the parking blocks!!! I hate when I see people drive up to those parking blocks and wait for the wheel to hit the block.

its not me LOL..im buying this car for my mom...i tried to get her a 5er but she says its too big for her and the driver seat at max height is way too low she cant see over the hood.

I got her a e90 msport last year and it just sits in my garage every since she curbed the front bumper after 2000 miles. she refuses to drive that car. she saw that the new 3 series were not as low so she wants that. but she wants it in BLUE...so EB is the only color.

I guess do a fat tyre setup or larger after market wheels

edit: I think the xdrive version sits 10mm higher if I am not mistaken

FYI the suspension that goes on the Sport/M sport models is 10mm lower. Also, the shape of the Msport bumper makes it more likely to hit things since it sticks further out at the edges.

The Modern/Lux/Base lines will sit higher.

If she wants a car with ground clearance then go for an X1/X3.
