They usually don't update the ECU software unless you either report an issue that would require it, or there is an mandatory update designated by BMW. There was a mandatory update for mine when I took it in for the 30K service last month. It's hit or miss. I know some people specifically request that the car not be updated. Sometimes that works, sometimes not. |

This one is tempting, but a tad far away for me. May I recommend the Tustin Brewing Co for lunch and a brew for those that enjoy a cold one

I'll be there!
Hey Tom,
I'm glad you're putting this meet together down in Tustin. I've been trying to schedule time to come over to your house but just couldnt get out there. I will definitely come down to Tustin. Maybe we can grab some lunch again like last time... Thanks, Gary |

I'll stay until everyone who wants coding is coded.
These meets usually run until 11:30 or so depending on how many people show up. When we're done, we usually find some place to get lunch. There are many choices in that area. |

So i arrived at the location and found no one i recognized...
yanked my phone out to check the bimmerpost thread and read it more carefully: "SUNDAY June 1st" !! I thought the meet was on a Saturday as usual, not thinking that yesterday wasn't June yet. LOL. But i came across this crowd in compensation: Anyone know what this emblem ? i have never seen it before: probably my favorite car there: even though this M3 doesn't have the proper M engine from Europe: happy June everyone ! Sorry i but i can't make it today on the real date !

Thanks again, Tom, for taking the time to drive down and all your help. Love the new features! Just an FYI, the parking lamb error went away for whatever reason after I started driving, and has stayed off thus far so we might have found the right parameter! Thanks for taking the extra time on that too. I'll see you at the next one. Last edited by dtn; 06-01-2014 at 06:47 PM.. Reason: typo |
