Help from people that know the car better than I

Ladies and Gents...

I'm looking at picking up a 2007 335i, sport, premium, heated seats. Currently drive an e39 5er and am looking forward to getting back in a 3. I'm a bit skeptical of the deal on this car, its got 29k miles and is selling for $22,995. The car drove well (except the TPMS light was on), interior is perfect, exterior is as good as can be expected for a 3 year old car. 11 months of original 4 year warranty remain. No accidents reported and none of the usual signs (hood paint feels smooth etc...)

The carfax is "clean" but the car was in the shop 5 times in 2009 with the rear brake pads being replaced in February and again in september after less than 7,000 miles. If I call the shop (Century West BMW outside of L.A.) can they give me a bit of the backstory on this car and why it was in the shop so much last year? Is this a huge red flag? 2009 history below...

11/17/2008 15,112 Vehicle serviced

02/16/2009 19,127 Maintenance inspection completed, Cooling system checked, Rear brake pads replaced, Fluid levels checked

04/10/2009 20,509 Electrical system checked
06/12/2009 22,412 Brakes checked
09/21/2009 25,617 Rear brake pads replaced, Brakes checked, Tire condition and pressure checked

12/24/2009 27,630 Tire condition and pressure checked, Oil and filter changed chassis lubricated, Maintenance

thanks and sorry for the needy first post... If I end up in a 335 I promise I'll be a worthy contributor, any help/advice would be appreciated. I want this car but I don't want to be a stupid buyer.

just talked to Century West (who were actually surprisingly extremely helpful and pleasant)... carfax got it wrong and the september brake pads were the fronts being replaced... he went through the visits and nothing sounded too concerning, fuel pump has been replaced which I know is a common issue.

11/17/2008 15,112 Vehicle serviced - NORMAL

02/16/2009 19,127 Maintenance inspection completed, Cooling system checked, Rear brake pads replaced, Fluid levels checked - NORMAL - Rear brakes go before front breaks i believe...

04/10/2009 20,509 Electrical system checked - NOT SURE IF NORMAL, BUT NOTHING COME OF IT... SO NORMAL
06/12/2009 22,412 Brakes checked - NORMAL (dependent on sensors, mountain road, driver, heat, etc... too many variables, but ultimately it was just a check)
09/21/2009 25,617 Rear brake pads replaced, Brakes checked, Tire condition and pressure checked - UNSURE... front brakes are suppose to usually run up to 40k i think but it also depends they could have been serviced due to squeaking?? i would check with the dealer as they have the full write up... for example... "customer states the front brakes are making noise"... etc... but i would think OKAY

12/24/2009 27,630 Tire condition and pressure checked, Oil and filter changed chassis lubricated, Maintenance - NORMAL

smart move checking BEFORE you buy the car... Also make sure if you do end up purchasing the car that all errors are removed... make sure that there ISNT a tune in the engine compartment (someone just purchased a car and it had a JB (juice box) in it... VOIDED WARRANTY)... have a dealer thoroughly inspect and give your written warranty...

make sure that if you DO purchase the car that ALL options are working (pair the phone, test the wipers, turn signals, brakes (most would show a warning sign but best to be sure!!) make sure seats move and adjust accordingly... etc... due diligence!

Thanks for the advice... just comitted and heading over with a check... want to test the lights and bluetooth and a couple of other things before I hand the money over, otherwise a done deal...

completely stoked, black lines for the first mod?... any other suggestions for first mod? performance wise it'll stay stock. Its faster than my 530 and my wife will be driving it as well so it doesn't need to go faster.
