Agree. My E93 has Xenons... soooo much better!

I just had my front end recently rearranged and that is a fear with aftermarket lights.... that said the left unit was replaced and the stock halogen fixture is $1200!

And yes comfort access should be standard!

Crazy expensive. But we all know what we are getting ourselves into buying a BMW. Name allows them to overcharge.

You should not get the Depo headlights, you should retrofit the LCI headlights in your 2017 320i.

Based on the cost of the units I do not see how that would change if you want to go OEM? Whether you have a 2013 or 2017 the units will still be around this, without installing and any tax.... :

I have a 2015 halogen. The price was for parts. You need a vin of a car of the same year and model with Xenons to get the right fit. BMW won't sell it to you based on the vin of your car.

It's complicated- I worked with Jason at getbmwparts on a projected cost... they can't order for you as they are a BMW dealer...

So tell me why I shouldn't get the Depo headlights?

Are there problems with these aftermarket lights? They seem to be on backorder everywhere so some one is buying them.

I was told Depo is working on 2016-2017 lights (assume they will look like the LCI halo version) but it is 8 months out.

Should I wait on those?

Sorry - BMW should really make these available as a retro fit given the results but what can you do! Good luck with however you approach it.

All right guys i'm back, and i'm starting to get mixed feelings about my headlights. I managed to sell my stock headlights for a decent price, so got back some money.

The price I paid is to be expected in Europe, it's normal prices are cheaper in the US, as is everything that has to do with electronics in the states.

Here's a pic of the headlights with the DRLs on:

The DRLs look pretty good. I thought first they tried to design the shape to look kind of like the F32 style headlights, but after receiving them in real, not so. They should have just made them to look more like the original F30 or F32 Angel Eyes instead... it would not have been a lot more difficult than what they managed to fabricate now.

I would compare the quality of these to the U-Led and "Eagle Eyes" projector headlights.
The ones I have here look better than the U-Led and "Eagle Eyes" headlights though, and in America they go for the same price, so I would definitely choose the ones I have here over the U-Leds or "Eagle Eyes" because they actually have real "Angel Eyes" and not just some U-shaped LEDs.

BUT I personally wish I went for the DEPO headlights. I really thought these would look like F32 in real, but they just don't. I feel regret, because the DEPO headlights look like perfect OEM but these ones look quite a bit cheaper.

I'm thinking to replace these with the DEPO headlights and just sell them for whatever I can get.

The main reason is because the ones I have are blacked out, and it just looks weird. If I would have gotten the silver ones I would have probably just kept them. I keep seeing thousands of other BMWs around here, and none of them have similar Angel Eyes as mine.

Sometimes I feel like, "Oh geez, just keep them, whatever. At least now I have projectors and decent looking DRLs" but the other part in me says "Fuck no! They don't look OEM! RICCCCEEERRR!!! Get the DEPO headlights now! and sell these."

What do you guys think?
If you're still thinking of selling my friend,
Can I buy from you if the price is appropriate.

Well, time has come to an end. I only had these headlights for 2 months (as a matter of fact, I only had this car for 3 months or so) and I have already crashed it. The headlight fell off during the crash, and shattered into pieces.

I strongly recommend you not to buy these SONAR headlights I showed you guys here in this thread. Why?

1) For some reason the DRL LEDs were visible thru the gaps in between the hood and the bumper.
2) They get TONS of condensation stuck in them whenever it rains or whenever it gets humid.
3) The LED DRLs look extremely cheap as they light up with many dots like a christmas tree.

I will buy new headlights for my F30 tomorrow but I will buy the DEPO headlights. Forget these SONAR F32 style headlights, they stuck!

Yes of course, the crash had nothing to do with the headlights. However, I would not recommend these headlights to anyone.

1) For some reason the DRL LEDs were visible thru the gaps in between the hood and the bumper, the black eyelids don't cover the whole top of the headlight so the light shines thru the gaps. This is definitely a serious manufacturing flaw.

2) They get TONS of condensation stuck in them whenever it rains or whenever it gets humid.

3) The LED DRLs look extremely cheap as they light up with many dots like a christmas tree.

Definitely not what you'd want on a BMW F30 in my opinion. Better go for the DEPO headlights with OEM look.

Do these xenon, halogen headlights need any special installation or anything?? I don't know why BMW even put those old lighting on a $50k+ car. it makes the whole thing look cheap. I need to replace them asap.
