Rear spoiler.

So to the people who got the rear spolier for their f30's... do you think its a must have item?... does it make the car look that much better in person?... I haven't seen one on a f30 in person... I ordered one, hoping it turns out great...

I saw it at the autoshow, seemed a little too big for a sedan IMO

I plan to get the one from AC Schnitzer which gives the car a nice soft touch.

Just curious, when you say too big...do you mean too tall, too wide, or just overall big and out of place? Also, what was the color combo? I have a CF spoiler that I'm looking to install on MG sportline, and have only seen pics as well.

It was this car, I thought it was a little tall. Less contrast on the MG so would probably look better. It depends what kind of look you want, it looks too aftermarket for me as opposed to a more subtle lip.

I think the size is about right. I've seen it in its carbon fibre form and again painted in the body colour. Although the carbon fibre looks fine, I think the spoiler looks more integrated and at one with the car when it is painted in the body colour. With the front splitter the overall effect is quite complete.

I agree on the color matching, and think that matching looks more OEM and not so aftermarket. That's why I'm hoping that the CF on MG isn't too much of a contrast. The pictures I've seen, the two seem to blend quite well and I'm hoping that it looks the same in person.

I agree, in this picture the black on EBII is too much contrast for my taste. I'm more into the subtle look as well, but of course, that's just my opinion.

why dont you just order the matte black version instead and get it painted same as your car... instead of getting the CF version

Too late, lol. I got the CF because I want something somewhere between matching and bold contrast. I figure I'll temp install it and see what I think. If the CF doesn't look right to me, then I'll have it painted MG and try again.

I think the CF on your mineral grey will work quite nicely. It certainly is not a cheap looking piece and is a BMW M performance part.
