I do not know of a single person yet who has successfully bought a 7E SLI FSC Code.

I have the following equipment in my car:
5AGA - LCW 5ALA - Active protection 5DFA - AAC + Stop&Go 5DPA - Park Assistant 8THA - SLI 610A - HUD Can I by coding enable both LDW and HBA? I think I have KAFAS camera and not KAFAS2. |

YOU have KAFAS Camera due to 8TH SLI, and same camera supports LDW and HBA. You can code these things, but at the hardware level, you will be missing the steering wheel vibrator for LDW (unless you happen to have Active Blind-Spot Detection too) and the steering wheel stalk switch for HBA.

What is the correct partnumber for the switch panel that includes LDW?
I found both 61319232638 and 61319268479. But the graphich on 61319268479 is a bit different on the middle switch... |

Its possible. I have bought them. Dont know if im the first to be able to do so but I have purchsed them from a seller who dealt with BMW AG.
My problem is that i have imported the FSC (FSC accepted). Added 8TH to my VO and coded relevant ECU's but i still get "---" in display. Shawn is currently helping me trying to get it working. I'm hoping its a simple code issue. |

It would be better to be testing this in a known country that supports SLI. Australia does not, so it is difficult to isolate why his is still not working with new 7E FSC Code and SLI Coding.

I really want to be the first to have it working on an F30... I'm hoping it ends up being a simple coding issue. MyFastM3 will share his Kafas coding with me...that might give an insight. Last edited by mario123; 06-09-2015 at 10:08 PM.. |

Okay guys an update and it doesnt look good.
i have found a post on another forum which contains an extract on how the system works. Part of it is below. "Supplementary sign recognition The system can only recognize signs that are included in its database. Text references to supplementary signs cannot be read or interpreted. Before speed limits with limiting validity are displayed, the system scans further information from the vehicle electrical system. The system can’t read text, it can only recognize a sign that is included in the “sign database” – therefore the system was programed extensively in 48 US states + western/eastern Canada therefore all speed limit signs (10-80 mph + signs as e.g. “Trucks”, “Trailers”, “School”, “Construction area”) are normally (when conditions allow) recognized by the camera. " So if Australian maps don't have this "sign database" camera will never match anything it captures. hence why I never get any readings. Sort of makes sense now I guess. |

I know I have LDW and want SLI, what else do I need as a prerequisite?
From what I understand is that I need the 7E FSC code to enable SLI function? This is my first BMW so I am clueless to coding and such. |

You should experience yourself first with simple coding and get comfortable before endeavoring with SLI. My recommendation only. I have purchased FSC code for my car and imported it however it doesn't work and I suspect it is because my country doesn't have the needed data in the nav maps. See my post above. |

Hi everyone,
I am new on this forum and new in the BMW world. I´v read the whole thread and have a question, especially to Shawnsheridan: Is it for sure that SLI can´t be coded in a car that has just FLA camera, no KAFAS? I have got F32 from april 2015 and have just HBA with FLA, no KAFAS, and added 8TH to my VO and coded relevant ECU's and I get "---" in display, and get no warnings in the car info. I have not imported the FSC. Is it worth to try to imort the FSC (if I ever get it) to get 8TH to work? |
